At Darrell's Firestone we know each component of your car's AC has a specific function. A cracked or damaged compressor can cause your car air conditioning to fail. Call today at 248-477-9090 and talk to one of our pro mechanics about repairing your car's AC compressor.
Replacing Your Car's AC CompressorAt Darrell's Firestone we recommended that car owners replace the complete AC compressor assembly because the compressor replacement core operates under extreme physical pressure. The compressor is powered by a serpentine belt, which provides the energy needed to compress freon refrigerant to cool the car's cabin. Once compressed, the freon is in a volatile, high-pressure state. This pressure forces the liquid out of the compressor and through the cooling system.

What our clients are saying about us
We have established longterm and stable partnerships with various clients thanks to our excellence in solving their automotive needs!
Great mechanics. They communicated with me through the process and were able to get all the work done the same day.
We’ve taken our vehicles to Darrell’s Firestone a few times for various repairs. I’ve always had a good experience with their service and prices. This past experience was so good that I had to come post a review. I had driven my car on Saturday and everything was fine. The next morning it would crank over but not start. I took the battery out and had it tested at Autozone. They said it tested bad and was only at 50% charged. It was 4yrs old so I bought a new one. Put that one in and the car did the same thing. Cranked over good but wouldn’t start. I had the vehicle towed to Darrell’s on Monday morning and they started working on it that afternoon. After working to troubleshoot the issue for most of Tuesday, their tech identified the issue as a fuel pump driver module. Their price for the part and service were more than fair considering how much time and effort went into diagnosing the issue since the computer codes didn’t offer much help. Can recommend these guys enough. Hopefully I don’t have any more issues anytime soon, it if I do, I know where I’m taking my car.
